Ludwig
Super Sensitive Snare Drum - Ludwig Super - Ludwig Snare Drums
These
flyer and catalog references are great ways to
see a version of your Supersensitive from the
catalog pages. Remember the years for catalogs
are the years they were given out, the catalogs
were actually prepared the prior year. So a 1960
catalog would have been produced in 1959. Also
remember many times the same drum photo is used
for different catalogs.
This
web site is for Super Sensitives after 1962.
If you are doing research on the earlier
Super Ludwig and the Super Sensitive then
visit the main Vintage Drum Guide where
we have the snare
drum catalog pages going back
to 1911. The image will take you directly
to the page.

This
web site is not affiliated with the Ludwig Drum Company. It is
an informational web site for the documentation of the Acrolite
Snare Drum. Also called an Acro. We have a large collection of
literature, articles and photos of this model snare drum. The
Acrolite Snare Drum history section will document the drum from
the early 60's version to the newer Acrolite still being made
by Ludwig.
